Paritosh A

Known to students and dive teams as Pari

Experienced scuba instructor, technical diver, and patient guide for people building confidence underwater.

Paritosh has spent years teaching divers with different backgrounds, abilities, and comfort levels, and leading dive operations across India and Southeast Asia. Since beginning his diving journey in 2015, he has logged 3,000+ dives and helped certify 600+ divers.

He understands that a deep technical dive and a first breath underwater call for different kinds of preparation. His teaching meets each diver where they are, builds confidence one skill at a time, and keeps safety and clear explanations at the centre.

The journey so far

From tech startups to teaching people to breathe underwater.

Before scuba took over, Pari spent a decade in IT and tech startups. He knows what it feels like to walk into something new, wonder if everyone else has read a secret instruction manual, and try to look like you know what you’re doing.

He began diving in 2015, trained as a Divemaster in Goa, and continued his instructor development in Gili Trawangan, Indonesia. From there, his work took him through dive sites and operations around India and Southeast Asia, including Pondicherry, the Andamans and Sri Lanka.

Today, he’s bringing that experience to Bangalore, where new divers can learn in a more familiar setting before taking their skills into open water. The goal isn’t to make everyone a deep diver. It’s to help each person become a safer, calmer and more capable diver at their own pace.

You don’t have to feel confident before you start. Building that confidence is part of the training.

A journey shaped by the water

Different places. Different divers. The same respect for safety.

Each stop brought new conditions, new people and new lessons - and helped shape the instructor he is today.

A little perspective

100 metres underwater. Still believes in getting the basics right.

A 100-metre dive is a serious technical undertaking. It calls for detailed preparation, gas planning, equipment management, team coordination and disciplined procedures. It’s an experience reached by very few divers in India.

But a deep dive isn’t the point of every scuba journey. For someone taking their first breath underwater, the important things are much simpler: understand the plan, learn the skill, stay aware and never rush just to prove something.

Technical diving experience, grounded in patient teaching.

A few moments from the journey

Different dive sites. Different people. One responsibility.

From teaching and guiding to supporting day-to-day dive operations, the experience is about more than getting underwater. It’s about looking after the people who come along.

What matters when you’re learning

Good diving starts long before the dive.

01 / PATIENCE

There’s room to learn

Need another try? Have twelve questions? Want to pause and reset? That’s part of learning, not a problem to apologise for.

02 / GOOD HABITS

Understand, don’t just memorise

Equipment checks, breathing, buoyancy and awareness matter from day one. The aim is to understand why a skill matters, not just tick a box.

03 / YOUR PACE

Start where you are

You don’t need to be fearless, super-fit or born with flippers. Training starts with your goals, your comfort level and the skills you want to build.

Start with a conversation

Curious about scuba? Ask Pari.

Maybe it’s your first time trying scuba. Maybe you’re returning after a break, or want to feel more confident in the water. You don’t need to know which course to choose before reaching out - and you definitely don’t need to arrive with your own fish jokes.
